Master Series-Chrome Finish-10ft Belt used during the Apple iPhone 5 unveiling at the Apple® store in Brandon, FL
On Friday morning, Apple finally delivered the prize thousands of line-sitters around the world were after, and Equicross, Inc. and crowdcontrolstore.com were hired to provide crowd control equipment and also help with crowd management. The iPhone 5 went on sale at 12 a.m. local time on Friday in the U.S., Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and the UK.
Crowd Control Store provide the Apple store in Brandon, Fl with our Master Series, chrome finish, 10 ft retractable belt
stanchions. These retractable belt barriers were used to help the store manager control the crowd during the Apple® iphone 5® release, where thousands of customers were expected.
The crowd at the Apple Store at Brandon Mall was quiet but large about 20 minutes ahead of opening time. The line snaked from the Main entrance, down hundreds of feet of corridor, to outside the mall.
Following government guidelines and safety procedures, the barricades were placed away from the store’s entrance, and had breaks and turns in them to prevent customers pushing from the rear.
The guidelines also say that employees should be assigned to specific spots, (which Apple managers obeyed by) and that the local police, fire department and hospitals should be alerted about an event that might draw crowds, which was also the case in this situation.
Apple’s iPhone 5 release comes nearly one year after Apple’s iPhone 4S, the model that introduced the world to Siri. The thinner, faster iPhone 5 is Apple’s first hardware overhaul in several years. Reviewers have praised the phone’s bigger screen, zippy processor, stellar camera and elegant packaging, but two major changes sparked blowback.
After this successful set up by crowdcontrolstore.com, retailers and mall operators have expressed great interest in using our products
during the upcoming holiday season, stating mainly the great quality of our products and the high level of professionalism displayed by our staff.
